Matrix Online, The Church Clearing edition.
Now I play a game called, The Matrix Online, you may or may not have heard about it or care, if not, you can stop reading anytime.
So I was hanging out with my Faction, and we ended up going to a church where a lot of folks believed there would be a Live Event. (GM vents are supposed to be pretty regular in this game)
Now the three reasons most people thought there would be someone coming to this church seemed to be as follows:
A: Some super secret meetings that the NPC had with a few factions the day before, no real time table was presented.
B: Several People heard about the way the event played out on other servers, since the Live Team can’t do all the servers at once.
C: A slight glitch (IMHO) allows you to add any character played to you AIM buddy list, like Niobe, Morpheus, Agent_Gray, ect ect. And several people had added this Vampire NPC.
Now the reason I explained all that is because there was no time frame, as I understand it, some folks had been there for hours, most the day, sitting in a church, online waiting for an NPC to show up.
So, we were hanging out for a bit, and being a Player vs Player server, we got bored looking at this:
So we decided it was time to clear the place out.
Now being 24th level, I expected we would get wasted after getting some people right off the bat, but I was greatly mistaken.
It was a glorious fight, we cleared every red out, and then left allowing time for the folks to gather back up and enjoy the live event which we caught the tail end of the speech.
