Cinomed’s Asylum

First, Guitar Hero….. Proves to the industry that playing a plastic guitar kinda like Dance Dance Revolution is not just fun, but highly addictive.

Second, the Wii proves that 4 adults are ready to stand in front of the TV and console system and play a game.

Lastly for sometime downloadable content has been around, but seemed to have a terrible “signal to noise ratio, just like the internet in general.

So now we have Rock Band, which has released more songs for download than originally shipped, allows four people to play all together, bringing families together, and making people that never even considered owning an xbox or play station “Gamers”.

Though, it doesn’t seem to work out for everyone. (article does contain a lot of great points about it though)
