OMG here we go, new season of The Ultimate Fighter after 3 full hours of fights!

A lot of The Ultimate Fighter 5 cast in this one.

Kenny Florian “KenFlo” Vs Joe Lauzon “J-Lau”: I am a huge J-Lau fan…..but this will be a real hard test for him, Kenny is no joke, looking forward to seeing some fireworks here, “Don’t Blink” as they say!

Thiago Alves Vs. Karo Parisyan: This is a coin flip to me, they are both awesome fighters with a ton of heart, I expect a great fight!

Matt Hamill Vs. Tim Boetsch: You know, I was not a big fan of Matt’s on the show, but he showed that he has really grown in MMA on his controversial loss to Bisping, but watch out! Tim Boetsch who claims to train part time with buddies showed some real skills! I got a dollar on Tim….

Kurt Pellegrino Vs. Nate Diaz: This will be a match where someone will step out of the box with some new tools, or expect Nate to submit Kurt from the bottom while eating some punches…. I am pulling for Nate

James Irvin Vs. Houston Alexander:  I dunno much about James but I am a huge Houston fan, I am hoping to see the under 2 minute knockout!

Now for the Undercard,  sadly containing several great looking fights!

Gray Maynard Vs. Frank Edgar: Tough to call here, Frank has the proven dedication, heart, and skills….. Gray ain’t no joke though….. and he trains with some of the best….. If I were placing money I would put a little on the underdog assuming there was enough of a spread…

Josh Neer Vs. Din Thomas: Josh seems to have been around a while, fought some big names, Beat Joe Stevenson and Melvin Guillard, but got submitted by Nick Diaz, pretty solid looking guy, comes in to fight another vet Din, I am behind Din on this one, I simply don;t feel he gets the kinda of respect he should having been in the UFC and MMA as long as he has. Should be a good fight!

Ryan Roberts Vs. Marcus Aurelio: Who and What? Looking at Ryan on Sherdog, looks like about a year and a half of fighting with an 8-2 record. Marcus on the other hand has been in Pride and now the UFC more than once with a 15-5 record, with a loss to Clay Guida also a Win then a Loss to Takanori Gomi….. We will have to see on this one.

Jeff Cox Vs. Manny Gamburyan: Why isn’t this televised?!?  Manny was the freaking TUF5 Finalist….. Lets hope for some short fights so we get to see this one on Spike!

Samy Schiavo Vs. Clay Guida: Clay effin Guida is not promised to be televised? don;t get me wrong, but c’mon he was in the MAIN effin event last fightnight!

Roman Mitichyan Vs. George Sotiropoulos: Download, youtube, backroom bosy massage….do whatever you ahve to, this should be a great fight to watch, Roman has something to prove, and George is on the cusp of starting to be a UFC Star.
Anthony Johnson Vs. Tommy Speer: Not 100% sure how THIS fight came about, Anthony is like 4-1? Oh well, don’t matter, I hope he can deal with the freaky Tommy Farmoy strength, yeat another fight I hope to see….

WOW, seriously hoping for some exciting but SHORT fights so we can see more and more.

Props to Spike for showing 3 hours and increasing our chances of seeing more bouts……

Anyone else get the feeling the UFC is trying to get some more video for UFC Unleashed?
