Appendicitis…..holy crap!
So I get a IM last night:
“Hello this is *****’s roommate, he had appendicitis with a ruptured appendix, and will be in the hostpital a few days”
I mean…..WOW….how can you reacte to that, this person is a good friend, as far as online friends go. We have played a lot of poker, chatted about a bunch of stuff, hell I even once blocked him after a heated political chat for a while.
He coulda died…. but I am terribly flattered, in his time of pain and suffering, he specifically asked his roommate to ping me and let me know….
It’s lovely to get confirmation someone you consider a friend thinks the same of you, terrible situation, but he will be OK from what I understand, and if he didn’t before, he definitely has a friend for life now…
